Gluten Free Apple Crisp with Red Quinoa Streusel

INGREDIENTS

4 apples, sliced
1/2 cup Date Sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped Ginger Slices, Crystallized & Organic
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt

This Gluten-Free Apple Crisp is a ridiculously awesome sweet treat made with apples, date sugar, crystallized ginger, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt, and it’s even better with this delicious Gluten-Free Red Quinoa Streusel recipe!

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F and lightly grease a 9 x 9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, toss together apple slices, date sugar, crystallized ginger, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until apple slices are coated.
  3. Place apple mixture in prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle Gluten-Free Red Quinoa Streusel in an even layer over the apples.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until streusel is golden brown.
  6. Let the apple crisp cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, and enjoy!
