Flat Icing

INGREDIENTS

1 cup confectioner’s sugar
3 teaspoons water
1/8 teaspoons vanilla extract

Why use store-bought icing made with 30 different ingredients when you can enjoy fresh, wholesome icing made with three simple ingredients? All you need is confectioner’s sugar, vanilla extract, and a little water for this delicious flat icing that stores for up to two weeks.

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, water, and vanilla to form a thick paste.
  2. Continue to whisk until mixture lightens slightly in color.
  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
